Lactated Ringer’s Solution, a sterile fluid contained in a bag, is often prescribed for rehydration and electrolyte balancing. This sterile fluid, which is administered subcutaneously (under the skin), has a variety of beneficial effects, and is a good source of water and electrolytes. Available in a 1000 mL (1L) bag.
