Feline Thyroid Screening — TSH Test
This thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) test is a simple blood test that helps us evaluate how your cat’s thyroid is working. It is especially valuable for screening senior cats and for clarifying borderline cases, and it’s typically reviewed together with a T4 level to give us the full picture of thyroid health.
If your cat has recently had bloodwork, this test can usually be added onto the existing sample, as long as there is enough left at the lab — no second draw needed
